SA’s electric car: The Joule

Treevolution has a story on the much-talked-about South African electric car. The Joule, which can be charged using a 220 outlet, is being developed by Cape Town-based company Optimal Energy and looks like a cross between a Renault Scenic and a Citroen Picasso, which is not exactly sexy but it it practical.
